Suspicious Death Investigation – Police Request Public Assistance

On September 20, 2018, at approximately 7:30 a.m., Guelph Police received a call about a male who was possibly in distress in the area of Arthur Street and Wellington Street. When Police arrived, the male was deceased.

Guelph Police are requesting the assistance of the public as we are looking to speak with anyone who was crossing the bridge on foot on Macdonell Street between Woolwich Street and Elizabeth Street in the hours of 2:30 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. on September 20, 2018. Anyone with information is advised to contact D/Sgt D. Begin at 519-824-1212 extension 7226. Anonymous information can be left by calling CRIME STOPPERS at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
