Safe Semester Guelph Results

Project Safe Semester Stats - Week 1 September 3th – September 9th, 2018

These (below) stakeholders have teamed up to address the late night issues in the downtown core and in residential neighbourhoods which have a high concentration of student housing. Safe Semester runs until September 30th, 2018.

Guelph Police Officers, in conjunction with By-law officers and University of Guelph Off Campus representatives, throughout the duration of Safe Semester will continue to attend to residences proactively to educate the residents as to their responsibilities and the risk they encounter if they host a party.

Project Safe Semester is a collaboration involving

• City of Guelph (various departments)

• Guelph Police Service

• Guelph By-Law Enforcement

• Guelph Fire Department

• Downtown Guelph Business Association

• Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario-Investigation and Enforcement Bureau

• Guelph Transit

• Public Works

• Downtown Guelph Business Association

• Guelph-Wellington Emergency Services

• Central Students Association

• University of Guelph
