Fatal Injuries Sustained In Collision - Mount Forest Woman Identified

Honda Collides With Pick-up Truck In Stormy Conditions

(TOWNSHIP OF WELLINGTON NORTH, ON) - On Thursday November 9, 2017 at approximately 6:30 p.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a serious collision involving two motor vehicles on the Wellington Road 109, East of Arthur. An east bound Ford pickup and a west bound Honda sedan had collided head on.

21-year-old Rebecca Elizabeth CUTTING from Mount Forest was pronounced deceased at a local hospital.

Wellington Road 109 was closed but is now open. OPP identify weather was a contributing factor.

OPP are urging motorists to prepare for the changing weather; plan ahead and drive according to weather conditions.

The Wellington County OPP is asking anyone that may have witnessed this collision to please call 1-888-310-1122.
