    Description

K9 Helpers History

K9 Helpers was founded in 2001 to help meet the needs of an individual for whom our Head Trainer had trained a dog. Our first dog graduated in 2001 and we have been building and growing and training ever since. We now have a fully functioning board of directors, fund raising plans in place and an active service dog club which meets to help our clients maintain and develop skills.

Our thanks to the many people along the way who have helped us to grow and develop. Among these people are Donna MacWilliam, Sandra Murdy, Liz Pask, Mary and Don Grad, Robert Munch, and the countless volunteers who have lent a hand along the way.
